Classic Novels
It's still difficult for me to read classics in English even though I can enjoy reading modern books in it. A couple of days ago, I found a classic e-book for free, and the Japanese version for one dollar. I got both of them because I thought it's a wonderful idea that I read the same classic in both Japanese and English.
Now, I am thinking which language I should read first.

Now, I wonder which language I should read it in first.
センさん's corrections look good.
Which classic book did you get? (I am curious because my degree is in English and I love reading classics.)
I have a couple of modern Japanese novels like Kitchen by Banana Yoshimoto in both English and Japanese although I need to study more before I can read them. Of course, my dream is to someday read 雪国 in Japanese. :)
by Oscar Wilde". I have read "The Picture of Dorian Gray" in English before, and I enjoyed it.
I live close to Kawabata Yasunari's birth place in Osaka. We have a library and street which has his name on. Good luck on your reading!
