Thinking About One of My Friends' Entry

Today I read a journal entry of one of my lang-8 friends. He wrote about why people quit writing on the site. I've been keeping a journal entry for three years and five months almost every day in English and thought why I've been keeping it.
First, I have an ambition to master English to make my dreams come true. I believe that writing helps to improve my English. That's the main reason for me to keep on writing in English. I know everyone has the similar goal in their another language, but while keeping a diary, majority of people can't maintain their motivation and they stop it.
Second, I know myself very well. Once I become lazy, it's hard for me to go back. That's the second reason for me to keep it up.
Writing is already a part of my life and it's not difficult for me. I can express what I want to say in English but I still can't express anything in a natural way. That's the problem for me now. When I started writing, my goal was to keep writing every day, but now my goals is writing natural English.

Thinking About My Friend's Journal Entry
It's assumed that you have multiple friends, and you're just talking about the entry that one of them made.
I've been keeping a journal entry almost every day for three years and five months in English and I've thought about why I've been keeping it.
'almost every day' sounds better there.
I know everyone has a similar goal for their target language, but while keeping a diary, the majority of people can't maintain their motivation and they quit.
I can express what I want to say in English but I still can't express many things in a natural way.
You *can* express some things in a natural way. And I'd disagree with 'many things', too. But I think this was what you meant to express, so I've corrected it this way. Personally, I think you do quite well at expressing things naturally.
When I started writing, my goal was to keep writing every day, but now my goals is writing natural English.
In the end, it means I don't really get good at any of them. Japanese has been an exception, though. I've continued practicing it for years now. I don't often write here, and I don't always practice as much as I should, but I've never quit. Even when I wasn't actively studying, I was still reading and watching TV.
やっぱり継続は力なりということですね!私も頑張ります!
My main pain here on Lang-8 is my lack of ideas. I run out of topics to write about very quickly.
My goal is to become better at Japanese than at English, which is realistic, if I keep at it ... and since I love the language, I won't give it up without a reason beyond my current scope of imagination.
