My Ninteenth Book

I finished reading "Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator" in English without using a dictionary. It's my ninetieth book for this year. I still have to read 29th books to achieve my goal, so I have to keep on pushing myself!

The book is a children book but I like the author because his ideas are always extremely unusual. That's why not only children but also adults can enjoy reading his books.

The book is a sequel from "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" and compared to the first one, the sequel story was funnier for me. I enjoyed reading it. In the book the author blames human cupidity and abjection, but the story is full of humor.

I read that book as a child and I forget about all of it but I do remember that I liked it a lot. I like childrens books also for language learning. You're doing great... 19 books is awesome ;). I'm on chapter 2 of my 1st Japanese book... Harry Potter (the Japanese translation of course.). It's really hard!

Hi, kraemder-san. A bit long time no see! Thanks for the correction and the comment! I also would love to read "Harry Potter" in English! I read it with a Japanese translation and it was very fun!

I wish I could find interesting Japanese children's books as easily as you find English ones. :) 90th book. Jeez :D Even counting manga, I don't think I've managed that many Japanese books in all the time I've been studying. :)
