Here in Alabama is very hot, and the weather makes me tired. Yesterday's temperature was 93 dgree F, and it killed me. In the hot weather, my Alabaman friends and I went to Space and Rocket Center in Huntvile.

I have watched the NASA station several times on TV, but it was my first time to see real American rockets, engines and many things. It was so cool for me. I really thought if my daughter were there, she would be interested in the stuff and enjoyed it. I saw a lot of American kis were camping there, and I thought it was really good for kids to make be interested in science. Japanese childrends are less interested in sicence, and I'm one of them who are worried about it. I thought we also should have such kind of programs in Japan.

Today, my friend, her friend and I went to a Thai restaurant and her friend intruded me her Japanese art friend. She is a water color painter and have been strugging with becoming a better painter. She and I became a good friends. After eatiing our lunch at the Thai restaurant, we went to an art museum, antiquing and shopping. Meeting her made me very happy because I could speak in Japanese for a while! Although I couldn't find any interesting antiques, I bought a matching cup and saucer set of Herend, Hungary. I bought it for a half price of the price tag, and it made my day!!!
