There are two ways to type in Japanese hiragana.
You can make your text on this page and then copy & paste to use. Or you may be able to type in your preferred site directly.

A. The way to make text on the page
1. Click the button "IME On/Off" (or hit the keys "Alt-o" or "Ctrl-9") to turn the background color of typing space into light blue, which means "IME is On". (It may take a little while. Please be patient for a few seconds at the really first.)
2. Once the color change, you can type as you do for Roma-ji input Japanese typing
When you want to convert the hiragana to kanji or katakana, hit the space key twice. You will see the drop-down window showing words of candidates, keep pushing space key to choose an appropriate one. To set the words you pick, you can hit return key or just keep typing of following text.
3. You can turn off IME while you type in English
*Attention*
When you do the copy or paste action on the window, you MUST turn off IME otherwise you will lose your text.

B. Typing in Japanese on your preferred site directly.
1. See the「どこでも AjaxIME (New!)」section and find the link [AjaxIME].
2. Save the link to your Favorite or tool bar of web browser.
3. Open the page where you want type in Japanese.
4. Keep the page open and click the saved link supposed be labeled [AjaxIME].
5. If you see the background color of typing area is changed into light blue, you can type Roma-ji in there.

This is Javascript based. Please be sure that it is on.
