This is kind of my reminder to not forget an English word I’ve learned the other day.

I’ve learned a word “Pro bono” from a movie called “I Am Sam.”
A lady lawyer played by Michelle Pfeiffer used the word, when she meant to Sam played by Sean Penn that she worked for him for free.
I looked up the word in the dictionary, I found the phrase derived from Latin meaning “for the public good.”
By the way, at first, I thought the word was spelled “Pro vono” and it’s a Spanish word or something.
Refer to a Japanese Wikipedia, the word is used about volunteer activities by people who have professional skills such as lawyers.
