How do you take it, if someone tells you, “I keep forgetting English”?
Do you take it to mean that he is forgetting English little by little?
I’m wondering about it because the phrase sounds to me that he is trying to forget English.
The phrase was written by a Japanese man who is learning English.
I bet he wanted to say, “英語を忘れてきている” in English.
I’m not sure of if “I keep forgetting English” means the same meaning, but it sounds weird to me.

“Over time, I seem to be forgetting English” is easier to understand for me.
If I heard "I keep forgetting English", I would understand it as meaning "I often have occasions when I try to think of an English word or phrase, but can't remember it."
