Unfortunately, English native speakers here are much fewer than people who write English entries.
There are huge competitions between English learners.
So, if you really want to be corrected your entries, you should get a premium account.

It’s funny that because I hear a lot the word “English learners” in Japan.

You hear the phrase "English learners." There probably aren't a lot of people from England in Japan, so there is less ambiguity there than there might be elsewhere. The phrase isn't wrong, but it is ambiguous. It depends on the context how much ambiguity can be tolerated easily.

"English learners" consists of two separate words, so you cannot call it a word; the word to use for that is "phrase".
