最近、草食男子について日記読んだ。
Recently, I read about the "Herbivore guys"
草食男子って奴は「優しい男」似てるんだろう。
They're "Herbivore guys" are probably like "Nice Guys" in a sense.
「優しい男」も拒絶されるのを怖がるぞ！
These "Nice Guys" are also afraid of rejection!
そして、奴ら、手渡すだけするぜ
All they do give.
あの女を褒めて、金を払って、資産を使う。
All they do is give compliments, waste their money on a chick.
「返礼をあげますか？」と聞かれる。
”What do they get in return？” You might be asking?
「あら～、とっても優しいのね」「かわいいよね」だけだ。 全然返報はないさ
”Oooooh, that's sooo sweet of you.” ”You're sooo cute" That's it. No sort of reciprocation whatsoever.
従順な奴なんだぜ！
They're meek guys!
「紳士」になるのためってか？口座を功業するなんだ
For the sake of being "gentleman"? More like exploiting a man's bank account.
その理由が弟に「優しい男なんかになるな！」と言った。
That's the reason why I told a boy who was like my little brother "Don't be a Nice Guy!".
どう知ってる？ 俺も優しい男の子になった、昔の時。
How did I know this? I used to be a "Nice Guy" years ago....
騎士道物語みたいな理想；何も返礼欲したくないって
With a "Chivalric romance" ideal; he wants nothing in return.
でも本当に返報欲しいぞ！
But really they do.
そんな勇気はないのさ
They just don't have the courage to do so.
受動的な奴だ
They're just passive.
草食男子と違うことはない、それとも、同じだ
They're no better than the "herbivores", in fact they're practically the same.

「見返りとして何があるのか？」と聞かれる。

全然見返りはないさ

むしろ口座を食い物にされるようなものだ
そういう訳で、弟に「優しい男なんかになるな！」と言った。
