I am not a native speaker, so my corrections may not be correct.

Why are you worrying about English. You will learn it anyway. To make a break just try Esperanto for 2 weeks. It is very easy to learn and you still have the sense that you have done it with a language. Just try it...then it will be easier to try any language you want. Thumbs up and go on!!!
