I was in Kyusyu and my friends was in Nagoya. We had conversation via Skype.
九州と名古屋間で、Skypeを利用して語り合いました。
<people asked me> Do you have a hierarchical relationship in your society?
＜質問＞：「他者と居るとき、上下関係を感じることがある？」という質問を受けました。
Mamo：Before, I felt it in my work place but I think I don't have it as same as I can explain what I feel to the person.
以前は職場やプライベートでもそのように感じていましたが、現在は、自分を伝えられるようになった分だけその感覚はなくなっています。
As my age,for children or the person who younger than me, I think I don't have any peck order but I don't know their feeling.
年齢的に、子どもや年下の人に対して自分はその人に対して対等で在ると思っていても相手側はどう思っているのかはわかりません。
My friend said that if we apologize to them all the time it could be nice to them.
ある方から「子どもには謝罪を繰り返していてちょうどいい」という意見がありました.
I think so too.
私も同じことを思います。

I think that children and older people should be treated equally and you should apologise if you make a mistake, no matter the age of the other person.

The real answer is this: It is impossible to have any type of society whatever without hierarchical relationships. Someone must always be in control and some things or jobs must be more important than others.
Nowadays ,for children or the person who younger than me, I think I don't have there isn't any pecking order, but I don't know their feeling. if others feel the same.
