In Spain, the Spanish is the oficial lenguage but also spoken other languages such as Galician, Basque and Catalan, these three languages are spoken in specific regions throughout the country, I have the chance to speak of them as is Catalan, is a Romance language derived from Latin, is spoken in Catalonia, Levante in the area call Valencia, the Balearic Islands, Andorra is a small country in the Pyrenees, southern France, and some in an Italian city called Alghero, is the 75 most widely spoken language in the world and I am very proud to speak.I leave a picture-speaking areas, and if you want more information a little more about this language I leave the link.

Please be careful of your punctuation ( . and ,) I don't understand when one idea begins and ends. I don't understand the last sentences. good luck

Très interesant. J'aime bien les langues et l'histoire. Je ne crois pas que les ancienes langues comme Catalan est venues de Latin mais elles sont venues de 'italien' plus arrière, plus ancien, peût-être avant les romans. Vous aviez l'entendu?

Yes, yes, yes! I have a picture book (for kids) that my friend gave me. When she traveled to Spain, she bought one book for me because she knew I was studying Spanish, then when I saw inside, it was NOT Spanish!! I complained to her, I thought it looked like French, but she insisted that she bought it in Spain!!( She does not know Spanish, that's why).

So, I think it is one of those three languages you mention. How interesting to know that you have 3 official dialects. We have many dialects in Japan but none of them are official.

Hello Fumika, sure that your book is in Catalán as it is most similar to the French, Galician and Portuguese are similar the Basque does not descend from Romance, Greetings
