I watched Charlie and the Chocolate Factory on TV yesterday.
If I choose five best movies of my life, this is definitely the one.
I've watched it several times and I know the whole story but I can't help but laugh every time I watch it.
Comedy movies from foreign countries are not so popular in Japan.
In my opinion, that's because there may be slight differences on sense of humor.
I enjoy them but I don't think most of them are really funny.
Therefore, this movie and Shaolin Soccer are really great.
Both of them can overcome language barrier and cultural differences and make us laugh.

If I choose five of the best movies of my life, this is definitely the one of them.
You could also say, "If I had to pick my 5 favorite movies, this would definitely be one of them."
Comedy movies from foreign countries are not so very popular in Japan.
I enjoy them but I don't think most of them are really very funny.
Similar to my correction above this I would say.
Therefore, this movie and Shaolin Soccer are really great.
Weird use of "therefore".
You would only be able to use "therefore" in this sentence if, before this sentence, you listed reasons why "this movie and Shaolin Soccer are really great."
Both of them can overcome language barrier and cultural differences and make us laugh.
ahhhh, if you put this sentence before the above sentence then "therefore" would make sense!
I really like this movie too, but I (as a native English speaker) also do not think it is very funny- haha! Have you read the book?
I understand where to put "therefore".
I haven't read the book.
I thought that the story was written by Tim Burton, haha

This is a small correction, titles in English are usually set apart with quotation marks. In formal writing, titles of books, plays and movies should be underlined or italicized.

In blue: adjectives are set in the following order--opinion, size or number, shape or texture, age,
color, origin, material, purpose.
Red: In the first clause of the sentence you mentioned five movies, therefore this movie you are talking about is just one of the five.
I've watched it several times and I know the whole story, but I can't help but laugh every time I watch it.
When a word like 'and', 'or' and 'but' (called conjunctions) joins two standalone sentences, you should put a comma before it.
In my opinion, that's because there may be slight differences in the sense of humor.

you don't need to use "can" since you already wrote on the sentences above that the movies are great and funny.
Your explanation is easy to understand.

That is one of my favorite movies too! xD
I'm glad you like it, too.
Did you watch the new or old version?
I' ve only watched the one with Johnny Depp.
Is it the new version?
