My teacher could not make it today, so my practicum was postponed.
I found I have only one month to hand in my first assignment.
It was given 2 weeks ago, but I haven't checked the questions yet. haha
It is very hard and I don’t understand what I am studying.
Even though I read some papers, I couldn’t understand them well.
I am not sure they were written in English. haha
I have to change my lifestyle to study-focused mode.
(I don’t know how you say this.)
I need to be away from computers more and read a lot instead
since I need to read at least ten articles and
have to write a literature review.
For the next two weeks, my short-term goal is to read one thesis each day
and to summarise the main point of each text.

why...not 'to' summarise? cos have to follow the same stytle isnt it?? goal is 1 to read ....and 2 to summerise...
Ken, your sentence is "my short-term goal IS.." which indicates 1 single goal. If you wrote, "my short-term goals ARE..." to read... and to summarize...
so if i say ...to read and summarise...it means like combination??

What I'm studying is very hard and at times, I don't really understand it well.
I am not sure they were written in English.Sometimes it feels as though they were not written in English. ** im trying to imagine this is what you want to say.. like when i read some difficult philosophy journal, I go... "What? is this even English?"

I have to read Artist Interviews and Statements in Japanese and my Japanese is really really slow.
