It was fine fall day yesterday.
昨日はいい秋晴れ（あきばれ）でした
My kids and I went to a near river named Horikawa River.
子供と近くの堀川へいきました
The goal for the outing to the river was kid's training to ride on a roller shoes.
堀川には子供のローラーシューズの練習（れんしゅう）の名目（めいもく）で出ましたが
The fine weather and my strong sleepiness made us lie on the ground.
天気が良く眠気（ねむけ）にまけてごろんとしてました
