Three Days in the Night Gion Matsuri with my Lang-8 Friend

We have finished participating in the three night festivals called Yoi-yoi-yoi Yama, Yoi-yoi Yama and Yoi Yama.

It was very lucky that the weather was good, and it rarely rained as it had rained much during the night in Gion matsuri beforehand.

He came from Colorado to Japan from June to until August.

I met him one and half years ago in Kyoto once.

I will write about the Gion Matsuri and a Lang-8 friend who I have met during in this festival briefly.

We had experienced a lot much both in Kyoto and Nagahama.

I planned to meet a Lang-8 friend during this Gion matsuri in Kyoto.

I met him one other time one and half years ago in Kyoto once.

I think in this case "one other time" sounds more natural.

He already fluently speaks Japanese and can even listen to and understand almost all the Japanese TV programs.

If you just say "listen to" it sounds like "he has the ability to hear but maybe not understand"^^

Anyway, he and my family and he were satisfied by these night festivals.

I hope that he will continue to have a wonderful trip / time traveling in Japan.
