This is a continuation of my latest entry. I took my youngest daughter to the streets where the festival floats are crafted.
Gion Matsuri has already started. The festival had started on 1st July, but the night festival is now started.
The festival streets are almost only for pedestrians for this four days. So I took her from float to float safely and easily. She and I look at five or six floats that morning.
Then I took her to a mall called Shinpukan. She wanted to eat sandwiches. So I bought some sandwiches and bring them there with us.
It was rather early in the morning as the mall was not open. So we freely spaced the mall to have breakfast. She also studied her home work a bit. Then the mall open, and we dropped at some shops and she could enjoyed sprayed fog to cool heated body. It was fun time for me.
I will write about some Gion Matsuri entries afterwords...

I think it sounds more natural without "there" somehow ^^
It was rather early in the morning so the mall was not open.
Then the mall opened, and we dropped by some shops and she could enjoyed sprayed fog to cool down.
What is "sprayed fog" I wonder? ^^
It was a fun time for me.

So we freely spaced had plenty of space in the mall to have breakfast.
I took my daughters to the Gion Matsuri before the Night Festival
OR: This is a continuation of my previous entry.
I took my youngest daughter to the streets where the festival floats are made/built.
Gion Matsuri was already in full swing.
Note: "in full swing" = "already underway"
It started on the 1st July, but the night festival was only just starting.
For the next four days, the festival streets will be mostly closed to cars
So I was able to take her from float to float safely and easily.
OR: She and I had a look at five or six floats that morning.
She wanted to eat some sandwiches.
So I bought some sandwiches and took them away there with us.
持っていく= to take, to carry something away
持ってくる= to bring
OR: It was rather early in the morning so the mall was yet not open.
She also did a bit of (her) homework.
Note: () can be omitted
Then the mall opened, and we had a look at some shops and she enjoyed spritzing herself with some water to cool down.
Note: "spritz" - "a quick squirt of some liquid (usually carbonated water)"
>"She enjoyed spritzing herself with some water to cool down"
I'm guessing this is what you mean...
I had a good time.
I will write some entries about Gion Matsuri entries later...
