Night Gion Matsuri has gotten started this weekend. The day of the famous float parade is fixed at the day of 17th July. You can fully participate in the night festivals which are held for three days before the DAY.

My oldest daughter didn't have a day off this Saturday, and I took her to her elementary school. When I biked to the school we saw many festival floats from my apartment to the school.

I always work during the festival days so it was the first time to walk around the floats during the day time. it was fun with my oldest daughter.

I also took my youngest daughter to the places where these floats were located. I may write about it tomorrow...
