This is a continuation from my latest entry. I have talked with the man who is working at Japan Post Service when we met at Shijyo Karasuma.
Speaking of the meeting, I wanted to confirm how much did it cost to ship one Mama Bicycle to Seattle. So I arranged the meeting with him. He kindly came up to the place where I am always working. He was a guy whose age was as similar as me. We started to talk while having lunch.
I asked him how much and what kind of service would be available for me. I also told that the weight of one Mama Bicycle is usually 35kg or more.
He explained to me that ii was a pity that he and his department could not ship the bike whose weight is over 30kg. I was sorry to hear that. It seemed that I couldn't ship one or some Mama Bicycles to the US or the other countries.

But he was very interested in shipping the Mama bicycles abroad while I finished talking about my plan and the concept of my Mama Bicycle exportation. He finally suggested that it may be possible to ship one bike while it is divided into two packages, which are not over 30kg in each package. Well, it may not convenient for a Mama Bicycle user to start riding it when they receive them at their home. I told it to him.
He seemed to feel sad when we could not find the clear answer for the shipping. But he told me that he wanted to search the other method which might not be the service of Japan Post Service. He seemed to become interested in the first shipping to be overcome. Hope he will give me a fantastic alternative method to ship it.
I told the situation to the writer of the letter from Seattle. She seemed to wait the alternative method. Hope we can get such a method !

I have talked with the man who is working at the Japan Post Service; we met at Shijyo Karasuma.
Speaking of the meeting, I wanted to confirm how much it cost to ship one Mama Bicycle to Seattle.
He kindly came to the place where I am always working.
He was a guy whose age was similar to mine.
I asked him how much it might be and what kind of service would be available to me.
I also told him that the weight of one Mama Bicycle is usually 35kg or more.
He explained to me that it was a pity that he and his department could not ship a bike whose weight was over 30kg.

But, he was very interested in shipping the Mama bicycles abroad as I finished talking about my plan and the concept of my Mama Bicycle exportation.
He finally suggested that it may be possible to ship one bike if it is divided into two packages, which are not over 30kg each.
Well, it may not convenient for a Mama Bicycle user to start riding it when they receive it at their home.
I told this to him.
He seemed to feel sad that we could not find the clear answer for the shipping.
But, he told me that he wanted to search for another method which might not be the service of the Japan Post Service.
He seemed to become interested that the first shipment occur.
I hope he will give me a fantastic alternative method to ship it.
She seemed eager to hear the alternative method.
good luck!!
Does the manufacturer of the bike not have a US store? Maybe they can help? =)
Anyway, thank you for your corrections;)
What manufacturer is it? Maybe I can find it since I'm here already? We have lots of brands of bikes, maybe there is one similar here?

"come up to (someone)" = come stand right in front of that person
"come up to the front/stage" = go in front of the crowd/class, etc
He was about my age. or He was a man about my age.
Original sentence is unnatural and wordy.
I'm not sure if people would refer to men your age as "guys". A bit too young
He explained to me that it was a pity that he and his department could not ship a bike that is over 30kg.
Too wordy. No one would write this way. You don't need a full clause with subject and verb every time.
Also, we don't usually use "whose" for things. It's more for people.
But, he was very interested in shipping the Mama bicycles abroad after I finished talking about my plan and my concept of my Mama Bicycle exportation.
Well, it may not be convenient for the (bike) user/customer to start riding it when they receive it at (their) home.
We don't repeat the same phrase in full that many times.
He seemed to feel sad that we could not find a clear answer for (the) shipping.
Work (job) is long term. We usually use present tense for work.
"I work at OOO presently"
"the place I work at"
etc
Present continuous for work is more for the present moment.
"I'm working in the office now." 仕事の最中
or when "work" refers to する, やる not about going to your day-to-day job
"I'm working on this project this week."
Does this mean the bike as a complete unit cannot be shipped, or is it possible to send the bike in parts (as mentioned in this journal entry and since a bike can be disassembled)?
