To the City Complex by an Hybrid Car (Arranged by Orix Car Sharing Program)

It is not a bike entry by chance. This is the remaining half of the latest entries, To the City Complex with my Daughters...
I submitted an application for a membership of car sharing program. I don't think I will often use a car much more than my Mama Bicycle. However, I thought it may be necessary for my family to use a car a few times. This application was somehow promoted by Groupon, which told us that you could use the shared cars without either the registration charge or the monthly charge for a year. So I easily applied it the other day.
The car sharing program was arranged by Orix. It may be convenient for someone who don't use a car so often and someone who use a car for a moment each case. The charge is basically 200 yen per fifteen minutes. It includes both gasoline charge and insurance charge. The member can reserve it by mobile phone basically every time. These benefits may attract some people.
I don't own my car mainly because I don't necessary use a car in my town. It is not rather rational to own and maintain a car paying much money. I mainly started to use my Mama Bike naturally and have been riding it over six years.
Ah, this entry is getting somehow long. I will write about the essence of this entry. The car was a kind of hybrid. So it may be kind to the earth. None the above, it may help my family to go to a rather far place when we have a vacation or when it rains heavily. The weather was very bad, and the destination was faraway last weekend. Above all, my wife dislikes to bike in such a situation. That's why the car sharing program may be helpful for my family in some cases.... Of course, the swimming was fun, and fun to drive.

I wish my city was easier to bike in. I'd really like to bike to work. Everything is far away here and there are no bike roads, so I'm scared I'll get hit by a car. ;.;
