At a Classroom Show in her Elementary School

The other day, a weekend ago, I participated in a classroom show at my older daughter's elementary school.

She is already a second year student there, and I've attended the classroom shows several times before.

I noticed that the students in her class have become more prudent than they were last year.

I was a kinda amazed, but it's a great thing, so I didn't complain at all.

My daughter didn't seem to be shy at all when she was a chairman in one of the classes.

This sounds more natural.

As it might be expected, there were many more bikes around the school than usual.

I knew some parents whose children were also friends of my daughter.

I think the parents and teachers were rather enthusiastic.

Last weekend/ Last week, I participated in a classroom show at my older daughter's elementary school.

We say, "at a school" "at work" and "at home" I don't know why, but we do say, "at school" and not "in school." Sometimes we say, "in school," but it's situational.

"I have attended" or "I had already"

I was a bit amazed, but it was a great thing, thus I didn't complain at all.

If you say, "kinda" it means "kind of" and you would say, "I was kind of amazed..."

I was very shy when I was in my elementary school.

You don't have to say, "my" it's already implied.
