Suehiro-Mikoshi ( A local festival in Kyoto）

I encountered a traditonal festival neat Kyoto Imperial Palace the other day while jogging.
ジョギングの途中、先日京都御所の近くで昔ながらのお祭りを見ました。

I remembered the wooden festival thing called Mikoshi of the other traditional festival at Nishiki Street, the famous street for fresh food in Kyoto.
その木で造られた御輿と呼ぶまつりの道具（thing)を見て京都の有名な食材の通り、錦通りの祭りを思い出しました。

There were many people to watch the local festival on the road. There were also rather many Mama Bikes...
まあ地域の祭りを見る人が道に沢山いました。まま自転車も結構あったりして。

I think that people in Kyoto like such a traditional festival.
京都の人たちはこういう伝統的祭りが好きだと思います。

On the other hand, the festival was found Suehiro-mikoshi festival for Kamigoryo Shrine. To tell the truth, the festival was not so popular that nobody knows the festival in my office...
でも、祭りは上御陵神社の末広御輿祭りだとわかりました。正直言って、この祭りはあまり知られて無いようで、オフィスの人も知りませんでした。
