I went across the Kyoto Imperial palace when I saw a toddler practice his bike ride with his dad.(His mom was also beside them.) To tell the truth the toddler's practice ride was the second time which I saw that day.
Then I saw some family play at a park inside the Palace. When cherry blossoms bloom many family gather to enjoy the blooming view and to let their children play.
That day I saw about five couple of family ride and I saw them let their children play on the ground or in some equipment to play with.
Beside the park, a large ginkgo tree was there. Its yellow leaves have already fallen and only one tenth of leaves remained. Errr, winter is here.

As I was passing by the Kyoto Imperial Palace, when I saw a toddler learning how to ride his bike ride with his dad.(His mom was also beside them.) Actually, this was the second time I saw a toddler learning how to ride a bike that day.
Then I saw some families playing at a park inside the Palace.

That day I saw about five couple of families riding and I saw them let their children play on the ground or in some with some equipment to play with.
Its yellow leaves have already fallen and only one tenth of leaves remained. (you don't need to say "leaves" again since you already said it at the beginning of the sentence, but if you did then you should write it as "of its leaves" or "of the leaves" for it to be grammatically correct)
I guess you could say "toddler's practice ride" but "a toddler learning how to ride a bike" sounds natural to me. You could also say, "I saw a toddler practicing how to ride a bike."
I went across the Kyoto Imperial palace when I saw a toddler practicing riding his bike with his dad.(His mom was also beside them.) To tell the truth the toddler's practice ride was the second one I saw that day. (or -- To tell the truth that was the second toddler practicing riding a bike I saw that day.)
Beside the park there was a large ginkgo tree was there.
There is so much open space there, so it seems like a perfect place to learn how to ride a bike ^^
second one , the second toddler's practice

At cherry blossom time, many families get together to enjoy looking at the flowers and to let their children have a play.
That day I saw about five couples taking their kids on a ride and then afterwards letting them play on the oval or on some play equipment. (Note: "play equipment" =
Only a tenth of its leaves remained as most of its yellow leaves had already fallen.
Yep, winter is here.
Anyhow, it is a shame but I have little time to recall your corrections, I would like to confirm...
今日で二度目です is literally translated as "second time", but it seems not good, in such case, should we say "second toddler whom I saw" or second toddler's practice" ? Thank you.
"this was the second time I saw a toddler learning how to ride a bike that day"
But I think that simpler is often better and so I offered my own version,
"he was the second toddler I saw practising his bike riding that day".
"Actually, he was the second toddler I saw practising his bike riding that day."
I got your intention!
I saw him practicing his bike riding, that seem to be words-full.:)
Thank you!
