Taoism in Comics
Two weeks ago, when I returned my books in the library, a thick and yellow book caught my eyes. I took the book. It was “Taoism in Comics” painted by a famous cartoonist in Taiwan, Tsai Chih Chung. I flipped the book, and could not resist borrowing it home. Finally, I loved this book too much and bought a second-hand book online. The reasons I love the book are as followings. First, this book uses a simple way to express difficult thoughts of Taoism in a thousand years ago. Second, those comics turn the philosophical thoughts into vivid pictures. Finally, the comics itself in this book can be regarded as wonderful arts. The cartoonist creates his unique style of painting. It is a great enjoy appreciating the beautifully smooth lines or the rich facial expressions of animals and characters.
I read some every day when I am bored. It helps me gain more wisdom of life.
