Reading poetry: A Poison Tree by William Blake
Yesterday, I read “A Poison Tree by William Blake”. When I first time read the poem, I could not catch the meaning very well. But when I read many times and searched explanations on the Internet, I am gradually fond of this poem. It is a poem depicts the dark side of human’s anger. Anger is normal emotion, but when people suppress anger, it will become noxious. I like images in the poem very much. For example, the paragraph, “And I watered it in fears, Night & morning with my tears,And I sunned it with smiles, And with soft deceitful wiles. ,” expresses appropriately how fears and camouflage intensify one’s anger. How a vivid poem it is.

And I waterd it in fears, Night & morning with my tears,And I sunned it with smiles, And with soft deceitful wiles.,覺得將激化憤怒的情緒和偽裝的惡意表現得很貼切。
