Body Tradition
Today I watched a dance performance called “Body Tradition” in Treasure Hill.
It was corporately performed by Taiwan and Thailand dancers. This performance was not a finished production but more liked a developing process of creation.
Both of these two dancers have become fathers recently. Accordingly, they discussed the issues about the roles of being father and artists through dancing. Because I had never thought concerning issues before, it was interesting for me. However, a specialist made preserved comments. She thought that they did not break the gender stereotype in both cultures and the relating issues should be delved deeper.
I also agreed with her comments. Sure enough, a specialist can see more things than a common person like me.
