I am disappointated with this movie called "Eternal Moment"

12 years ago, when I was 13 years old, there was a popular TV drama in China called Cherish Our Love Forever (将爱情进行到底). I was a fan who hasn’t grown up.
It tells a story of those four good friends about their love, study, work and future. They were four college students, coming from different families but were all young and having the passion for life. They had their laughs, tears and happiness in their young ages and shared with their great friends. It was a beautiful story in my memory. I even wanted to become a girl like the leading character in the drama named WenHui after watching the it.
A few years later when I was a freshman in college, I found out by chance that some of my good friends are fans of this drama too. So we watched it again together when we were finally their age. This time we understood more about the plots and their feelings.
The society has changed a lot over the past few years, so does people’s values today. There are more sex scenes in Chinese movies but less true love stories. It is a realistic and materialist society than ever before, Which makes me appreciate the true love like the drama tells. So when I knew there was a movie sequel called "Eternal Moment" due out in cinemas on Valentine's Day this year, I was looking forward to watch it in the cinema with my boyfriend. But we missed the chance. Luckily we missed the chances because I am disappointed with the movie sequel when I watched it online today.
The movie sequel follows Xu Jinglei's character, Wenhui, and the development of her life over the past 12 years. She wears more expensive dress and more sophisticated makeup in the new movie, but I don’t like how her life is now. It’s not a sweet and comfortable life a woman in her thirties could have. There are cheat and divorce and fight in her life, which is totally different from what I have imagined.
Maybe the director wants to tell the fans that this is how life could be. So we should cherish what we already have so the happiness we have could last forever.

They were four college students, coming from different families but were all young and have the passion for life.
They had their laughs, tears and happiness in their youth and shared all of it with their great friends.
I even wanted to become a girl like the leading character in the drama named WenHui after watching the it.
Society has changed a lot over the past few years, and so do people’s values today.
It is a realistic and materialistic society than ever before, which makes me appreciate the true love like the drama tells.
