I went to yoga class yesterday.
This is my first experience.
Before the class starts, I ask to my teacher that It's OK? My body is very stiff.
She said "don't worry about it, have fun!"
I enjoyed the lesson!
I was sweating very much, so I think that my skin is good condition today.
I'm going to go other lesson tomorrow morning.

I think in USA people usually say:
"my skin is healthy"
"my skin is clear"
"my skin is smooth"
instead of " in good condition"
but no time I have do it.
>Before the class started
日本語では『クラスが始まる前』なのに、どうしてstartedなのですか?
In Japanese(クラスが始まる前) Why is "ed" necessary?

"my skin is smooth" is is the same as my feelings!
Thank you for telling me!
Please try it if you have a chance.
I'm sure you become like it!
Thank you. ^^
同じです!私も体が固いです^^;
小学校の時、背筋(上体そらし)を測定する事があって、その時もうすでに反らしてるのに、
先生に『早くやって』と言われました^^
It is a problem of "tense agreement."
In the first sentence you say "I went to yoga class yesterday."
"Yesterday" means past tense.
So your next sentences should be past tense.
So "It was" and "Before the class started I asked my teacher" because those things happened "yesterday"
English speakers make the same mistake sometimes ^_^
tense agreement.....
Oh, I remember now.I feel like I learned it before.
It's left my head till you say. I will read my grammar text book again.
Thank you!
In addition to what JR explained, when you write "when the class starts, I ask to my teacher is it OK", it would imply that you are doing it habitually. It would mean that you are always asking the teacher before the start of the class.
ヨガが楽しくてよかった!じゃあ、今度もがんばってね!
>you are always asking the teacher before the start of the class.
Oh, I see.The tense agreement is very important.
My problem has increased.^^
教えてもらった動画見てやってる!
