それはねこです
おはよう!
Like I said yesterday, I was learning about それ、あれ ect (but not much, coz I had to go to work).
So I prepared a comic!
Here is the text:
ーかわいい!
ーこれはなんですか。
ーそれはねこです。
ーあれもそうですか。
ーいいえ、それはいぬです
ーえと。。。あれもそうですか。
ーいいえ!それは祖父です!
ーああ、そうですか!
So complicated, isnt? :P
As you can see, I also learned another kanji/word
祖父 (そふ) means grampa (well, at least I belive it means grampa!)
I know its REALLY simply and dont have much sense, but yeah...
And for sure I made some mistakes so please, correct me! :)
I also have a question. Can I say これはなんですか if I ask about person or pet or just things like lamp, book ect? Hopefully I can, coz I used it this way in comic :P

かれはだれですか?who is he? かのじょはだれですか?who is she?
I believe that using かれ/かのじょ is better than あれ. it seems to be more polite for him/her.
about lamp, book and pet, you can use これはなんですか?too.
sorry! I can't explain well ;(
ーこれはなんですか? It is not a mistake, but it is more natural to put a question mark after a interrogative sentence. You could say "これはなに?", which sounds more immature and/or friendly.
I think "いいえ、あれはいぬです" is better, since the mother sees "that dog" too.
"祖父" is a formal word, sounds more like "grandfather". You can call your grampa "おじいちゃん", not "祖父" .
About person, NO. About other (living) things, YES. You can say "この人はだれですか" or "あれはだれですか" about person.
ありがとう
natsusuーさん- Don't worry, you helped me alot! Before I didt know how to ask about person, now its more clear. ありがとう!
ゼッパンーさん- Yes, I was afraid that I cant say this to someone and now I see that I really can't :)
thank you!
afunaiーさん- I was thinking that japanese people don't need to use "?". But I understand now, that sometimes its better to use it :)
"これはなに?"
I don't need to put か at the end if I want to ask something?
About grampa, I,ll remember that. おじいちゃん even sounds better, hehe :)
And "この人はだれですか" or "あれはだれですか mean "Who is she/he", right?
ありがとう!
Thenk you all for help once again, you helped me ALOT. I learned much today (as for someone who started learn grammar 2 days ago) :)
