G'day mates, how are you getting along with weekends?
Here, I would like to introduce a question about Japan some people from other countries might have.

I wonder if we have to have any "wasabi" (green horseradish paste) going along with each sushi by necessity...

It's long been known since ancient times that the wasabi effectively kills germs and prevents food poisoning.

When we eat some perishable food spoiling rapidly like a "sashimi" or a "sushi", we can guard ourselves from the danger of foodborne illness.

As serving idea, I would like to recommend you have the wasabi directly, not to mix in a soy sauce for the sake of keeping beneficial effects and avoiding damage to the flavor.

Do you like sushi?
(^_-)-☆ I hope everyone from other countries enjoy it♪
