When we consider two major aspects of urban function, one is human activity (to live, to work, to rest, et al.) and activity pattern which supports the human activity as an energy flow, and the other is physical forms (construction, roads, park, nature, et al.), the urban space design is regarded as organization working of urban space and to create meaning in these physical forms and human activity and reactions.

I consider that to design urban space is work to organize space, and to give a meaning in a reaction between this formation and the activity, if we capture it by two aspect, which are the pattern of human activities, such as living, working, commuting, taking a rest, , flow of energy to support them, and the physical formation such as building, a road, a park, nature.
