At the lunch time, one of my co-workers passed a bag of rice crackers around us. She told us that her boss gave it to her as a souvenir from Kyoto. The rice crackers were coated with powdered green tea. They looked very expensive and didn't have much taste, but bitter. Everyone at the lunch table had this crackers, but said nothing. I thought that they had the same opinion as me about them. However, when my friend said that only noble people could appreciate the taste of the crackers, we agreed with her. Honestly, we didn't want to be rude to say that the crackers weren't nice.
