She is a Chines who live with her daughter's family in the UK. About a year ago, she came to our salon to get her hair cut with her daughter who speaks English. Her daughter asked me once how to spell my name in Japanese(chinese character) for her mum so I wrote it down and showed it to her. Her daughter calls me Eico and she calls me' Inki' since then. it means Eico in chinese pronunciation I suppose. She has been coming to our hair salon on her own recently. Amazing thing is I can communicate with her with little english and gesture. She has a such a lovely smiles and confidence. She always reminds me of my grandmother in Japan. I don't mind if she calls me Inki.
