My life in the UK: Very British Problems

I mentioned before that British English is complicated. I'm sure you could see " understatement" " irony" and "euphemism" through their British English if you would live in the UK for a long time. If my English husband said something like "It tastes interesting" that meant "What the hell is this?" When we argued about something, and if he said " If you say to" that means Eico you are wrong" I think others would understand " he accept my post of view. Another for example, when the British said " You must come for dinner" which means " It's not invitation.I'm just being polite" then foreign people would understand " Oh I will get invitation soon" That's no bad" it actually means " That's good" How lovely is that!!
