When an initial is at the end of a sentence, is an extra period added?
No extra period is added. However, it is okay to add an exclamation mark (!) or question mark (?) if needed.
Sample sentences:
On the card, please write the initials, A.B.
On the card, can you please write the initials, A.B.?
On the card, you need to write the initials, A.B.!
