And there it was, my brandnew journal. But it didn't look like quite as I expected.
First of all, the adverts. We all know, that every social network in order to maintain itself. But if it appears, so to say, in the middle of your new and already beloved blog, it’s frustrating. It spoils the whole thing.
Second of all, the design in general. Decent themes can be counted on the fingers of one hand. The journal is way too wide. The pictures don’t fit even into this wide feed. And as Russians say during such moments: Не вынесла душа поэта…
I decided to resurrect my blog (which I managed to have deleted by then, new life is new life!). All the more so, the blog was prepared during numerous days of hard work: three blogs for three different languages all linked with each other. But you know that feeling, when you come to a place, where you used to go very often, you speak to people you used to speak to in the past, and it’s all wrong, not as it used to be. Not always though.
So I returned to my LJ , gave it a name, that I invented for another project, but as it still needs some more time to take shape… through trial and error changed the design, think it’s OK now, till I’ve made my own. Got rid of the adverts on my Russian LJ. The others to follow.
And I thought I let it live.
P.S. I’m still working on the design, so if you know, how to fit the pictures into the friends’ feed, you are very welcome to write it in the comments.

And so there it was, my brandnew [brand new - two words] journal.
We all know, [don't need a comma here] that every social network has to have adverts in order to maintain itself.
But if it appears, so to say, in the middle of your new and already beloved blog, it’s frustrating.
Decent themes can be counted on the fingers of one hand. [But I think your version is fine too...just I personally wouldn't say "fingers"]
The pictures don’t even fit even into this wide feed.
I decided to resurrect my blog (which I managed to have deleted by then, new life is new life!). [I don't really understand this bit...which blog? If it's deleted, how can you resurrect it?]
All the more so, All in all the blog was prepared during numerous days of hard work: three blogs for three different languages all linked with each other.
But you know that feeling, [don't need comma] when you come to a place, [don't need comma] where you used to go very often, and you speak to people you used to speak to in the past, and it’s all wrong, not as it used to be.
So I returned to my LJ , gave it a name, [don't need comma] that I invented for another project, but as it still needs some more time to take shape… through trial and error I changed the design, I think it’s OK now for the time being, till I’ve made my own. [until I can really make it my own - you don't really need to include this as "for the time being" kinda conveys this thought]
The others are to follow.
And I thought I would just let it live.
I’m still working on the design, so if you know, [don't need comma] how to fit the pictures into the friends’ feed, you are very welcome to write it in the comments.
