I'm a graduate student in Japan and my major is astronomy. All astronomical theses are written in English, so I have to read and write papers in English.

I'm interested not only in astronomy but also in brushing up on my various skills. For example, I'm interested in reading various kinds of books, watching movies, and dancing.

If I became fluent in English, I could know about many things in the world more directly.
