「ですから」is polite utterance by「だから」 Let's enjoy study Japanese!

ですから　means `so`.
For example

今日は雨ですから傘を持っていってください。
It is rain today, so please bring ambrella with you.

ライオンは肉食ですから気をつけてください。
Lion is carnivorous, so be careful!

ですから　is formal. we can use だから if we want to be casual.

So i can say
今日は雨だから傘を持っていってください。
ライオンは肉食だから気をつけてください。

ですから = です(polite form) + から (reason)

I see many Japanese learners use "ですから", but actually Japanese people don't use it too much.
Usually we use "～(だ)から" or "～(な)ので".

今日は雨なので、傘を持って行きます。 (今日は雨ですから、傘を持って行きます。)
I will bring an umbrella because it is raining today.

お腹がすいたので、ご飯を食べます。 (お腹がすきましたから、ご飯を食べます。)
I will eat because I am hungry.

お金がないから旅行に行けない。 (お金がありませんから、旅行に行けません。)
I can't go on a trip because I don't have money.

I also put the "ですから" form, but it sounds a bit strange...
We don't use it too much.

I think that です　+　だから　＝　ですから
It appears in both of the middle of the sentence and the beginning of the sentence.

です is the polite form to affirm something. Normal form is だ.
から is a particle of reason.

ですから is used in the first, middle and end part of a sentene.
Examples of the first part.
ですから、さっきから言ってる通り私はやってません！ for irritation
ですから、こうなるわけです。

Japanese particles can not be replaced with another word on a different language.
But if I dare to replace ですからfor an English word, it could be "because (S+V)" .
"So" might be appricable for ですから～、だから～.
